About Lyndsay
I’m skilled at holding whatever comes up in the room, tuned in to my senses and following the signals from your inner guides.
I ask: What feels right next? Where is the energy at right now?
I trust the wisdom of the relationship as it unfolds, practicing and modeling attunement, which helps you build capacity for your own self-attunement and self-trust.
Navigating this way allows you freedom and space to notice new pathways, sense buried wounds, and enlist your inner resources to heal.
Training + Approach
Beginning in 2011, I worked in community mental health and behavioral health settings, earning my masters in clinical mental health counseling in 2014. I went on to obtain licensure and now serve as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor through the Association for Play Therapy. I’ve worked in both community mental health and private practice settings since 2014, focusing initially on child and family therapy and now also healing work with adults.
I started my own practice, Linden Tree Counseling, in 2023. I specialize in play and experiential therapies, prioritizing safe space and relationship. I gravitate towards therapeutic modalities that center play, attachment theory and relationships, and somatic and parts work (IFS). At Linden Tree, I work alongside my therapy dog, Pippin, who is in training to support clients via animal-assisted therapy. Pippin is friendly and sociable, intuitive and curious, sweet and very playful!
